چکیده
Interest in the extraction of phytochemical bioactive compounds, especially polyphenols from biomass, has recently increased due to their valuable biological potential as natural sources antioxidants, which could be used a wide range applications, foods and pharmaceuticals green polymers bio-based materials. The present research study aimed provide comprehensive chemical characterization composition forest biomass (bark needles) softwood species (Picea abies L., H. Karst., Abies alba Mill.) investigate vitro antioxidant antimicrobial activities assess treating healing infected chronic wounds. DPPH radical-scavenging method P–LD were for mechanistic explanation biomolecular effects investigated compounds. (+)-Catechin, epicatechin, rutin, myricetin, 4 hydroxybenzoic p-cumaric acids, kaempherol, apigenin main quantified coniferous (in quantities around 100 µg/g). Also, numerous phenolic flavonoids, stilbenes, terpenes, lignans, secoiridoids, indanes with antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antihemolytic, anti-carcinogenic identified. needle extract was more toxic microbial strains than eukaryotic cells that its active wound principles. In this context, developing industrial upscaling strategies is imperative long-term success biorefineries incorporating them part circular bio-economy.
